Obviously this thread will spoil the cast if and when it does, but I won't be posting any other spoilers and I ask that no one else does the same. If you really wanna do that, make another thread for it.

Now - filming is due to start extremely soon, and S12 will film after it this time (much like how AS3 was filmed before S10, with Michelle commenting on Monet's Maya Angelou Snatch Game being "better than an Allstars queen's performance (Chi Chi)").

Reddit have naturally been going into hyperdrive, tracking down queens' cancelled gigs and "breaks from drag" that generally translate as "I'm going away to film AS5" and here's what they have:

Sharon Needles: Gig on 14th~15th. Gig on Honolulu at 29th. Music Video and Documentary with her will debut on 21st at NYC, WorldPride, unknown if she will be attending it or not. Currently on St. Petersburgh.
Shannel: Weekly show in Vegas. Gig on July 11th.
​Kimora Blac: Gigs on SF at 28th and 29th, at Club Papi. Both being heavily advertised by the bar. Is currently in LA.
Kameron Michaels: Gigs June 21st and 29th, all being current advertised. Said she wouldn't be on AS5.

Here for Mayhem getting the rudemption she deserves. I'm hoping Sonique appears too since she had a really good showing on that Christmas special. Derrick Berry will be there for three episodes just to cause drama and be messy I expect. Blair's an interesting one, her looks have come a long way in such a short time but I'm not sure if she can succeed in the challenges.

I really like the possible queens, here's hoping Juju can FINALLY get a win if she's in.

My thoughts on each of the rumoured cast:

- Shea - very much the Dela / Manila / Alaska casting. Hers to lose. I hope she doesn't, even I love most of the other girls.
- Mayhem - the show has a strong anti-WeHoGirl bias and they never do that well outside of Raven and Detox, but I can see her making it halfway or so if she plays the game well. She has the talent to be a finalist but I don't see her winning. Love her regardless.
- Cracker - obviously the fan favourite, and should make the final with her talents and an inevitable "overcoming her saboteur" storyline. Just hope she can hide her stinky attitude this time.
- Blair - S10 was that strong that she was sent home so early tbh... she can act, dance, perform and sing so she shouldn't really have many hurdles to overcome other than comedy.
- India - one of the most revered designers and seamstresses of all time, she's made dresses for pretty much every big Ru girl. Obviously she was sent home for having a lacklustre personality but she can definitely perform.
- Jujubee - she's STILL never won a challenge I adore this bitch and want that to change.
- Alexis - I adore her sfm, and all that talk about S3 being a two-horse race was total BS because Alexis has pretty much everything in her favour: she can sew, she can do comedy well, she had memorable quotes, she won an acting challenge, she did well at Snatch Game, she can lipsync... I think she's had a lot of struggles with her body image recently and I hope that doesn't manifest in some bad self-esteem on the show, though. Love her.
- Mariah - Again, adore her, but I don't know how she'll do... I fear she's been cast with an early exit in mind
- Ongina - Could go either way really. She was a powerhouse in S1 but that was so long ago, and I find her overbearing more than anything. Will be the most interesting to see how she's developed.
- Derrick - I know some will think she's been cast for the drama but she has such a huge reputation and career that I can't help but think she'll be the surprise of the season. If she can tone down the arrogance and stop attacking the competitors she could go far; especially if she's learned some tools from S8.

[Jigs]

This is Shea's season to lose. She's such a powerful force that I find it so difficult to believe she'll flop in any challenge amongst these other queens. I have a prediction she's going to bless us with Violet Chachki Death Becomes Her levels of runway gags.

I hope India Ferrah goops us all and makes it halfway. Also, I hope Derrick gets some redemption and proves to the fan base how much he can do.

I'm not expecting much from Ongina and Mariah, though I imagine they'll do well if this season follows the AS2-4 format because they seem like they'll be pretty well-respected. Saying that, Juju and Alexis are also in the cast so this might push Ongina and Mariah down on the social totem pole. I wouldn't be mad~

Cracker and Mayhem are cute additions and they both turned it out on the runway in their original season. However, I'm most hopeful for Blair due to the fact she seems to have grown so much since S10 in comparison to Mayhem who I've not seen much from, and Cracker who hasn't appeared to elevate her drag as much as Blair.

In regards to the cast, I really like it! There’s usually one or two queens in an AS cast that I don’t care for, but this cast is pretty solid, lots of room for redemption for most of them. I reckon India, Derrick and Blair will do a lot better especially. I follow them all social media and they’re drag looks have definitely improved since their seasons.

It does look like Shea is going to be this seasons front runner but I think from paper Cracker & Alexis are just as strong but who knows

The fact that Sharon Needles is even being rumoured goes to suggest we'll have an AS6 consisting of Yara Sofia, Shannel, Ginger Minj, Raja, Sharon, Tatianna, Tammie Brown, Tyra Sanchez, Mimi Imfurst and Coco Montrese

I'll be honest... I think they need to give All stars a break for another year.... or so. I'm not feeling it. 4 was a bit of a let down... 3 ended in a mess

The cast is pretty much confirmed to be the above ten.

But in more exciting/confusing news, there's apparently* a format change. The confusing bit is... there're two different formats floating around under the illusion of "tea".

1) There's still a top 2 allstars of the week, lipsyncing for their legacy, but instead of the winner sending someone home, they now save someone from a "bottom 3 of the week". The other 2 then lipsync for their lives.

Which... I am not mad about, but that's a lot of bloody lipsyncs in one season

2) Only ONE person wins the challenge this season, and they lipsync against a previous "Lipsync Assassin" from previous seasons (think Alyssa, Kameron, Darienne, Trinity etc.) If the challenge winner wins, they still send someone home. If the "Lipsync Assassin" wins, then all of the safe queens have to decide who to send home. Each safe queen picks a lipstick in private before the lipsync.

I think of the two, option 2 has the most traction and plausibility. But there's no tea - thank god - yet of anyone being eliminated, just some vague mentions of "______ is still there on episode three", if you're itching to find all of that.
