it's the only option left to him. He has been foolish in the way he has handled all of this and will be lucky to get back in the house at the next election.

Remembering Kerry
|
The voters of Streatham must be seething.
4 years ago he wanted to lead the Labour Party. Earlier this year he went Independent, stating politics needed to change, then helping form a briefly lived and failed Party. Then decided to be an Independent again. Now he's joined the party, the Lib Dems he fought against while in the shadow cabinet . A Party which helped inflict the worst of austerity measures, also which helped bring in humiliation and degrading testing of even people with terminal illnesses. Along with the sick and disabled. Won't even mention the other unsavoury things the Lib Dems supported in the coalition. All this done while never daring to ask his voters what they think in a by election. Chukka from 4 years ago when he seemed easily on the way to leading one of the main Parties. Must now be one of the most confusing, untrustworthy and failed politicians ever. If he now says, he was wrong to be in the wrong Party, wrong to think voters needed a new Party. Wrong to dismiss the Lib Dems as a real political force still. I doubt Chukka should be seen as really knowing his own mind. Kindest thing for him would be to lose Streatham st the next election and go and do something else. He for sure doesn't seem to be someone to be relied on. Especially if he doesn't get his own way. |
