Yes she is lying... or to be more accurate she is twisting it. She has completely changed the narrative of what Lizzo's music, message, brand is trying to say. And Lizzo is far from catering to white American with her music. Her music is as far from main stream America as it gets. I still can't find a single person young or old where I live who know her music.
