NEVER say never.

Without Big Brother, most of the reality shows that are on now wouldn't even exist. It's too much of an iconic show to be rid of permanently.

The reason why it was axed is because the channel it was on is being run by an idiotic, self-important turd who wanted to get rid of it just because he had something against it and to plug out his so-called "original content", all of which has turned out to be a complete waste of airtime and money.

A show like BB would never be dead especially when it is still running in so many countries. If they can revive things like Shipwrecked, Gladiators and LI years down the line, they would do for BB.

Whether it is in the next 5 years or 10 years. The format is strong. The only way it won't is if reality shows have a dramatic decrease of interest and are all cancelled because people have had enough of people watching... which going by LI ratings, is no where near close to happening.

Love Island getting the sort of ratings now that Big Brother didn't even manage for it's last few years on C4. If done well the show could definately have a second life.

I'm not a Love Island fan at all but I can see it is such a well produced show in comparison to what Big Brother became on C5 - and that's what keeps the ratings strong. Big Brother actually became painful to watch - I tried a couple of times to get back into it in the C5 era but just couldn't get past the awful parody that Marcus Bentley had become.

When/if it comes back it needs to be completely refreshed. Marcus, Rylan and Emma (as much as I like her) all need to go. It needs completely new faces and to feel like a brand new show. With live feed!!
