BIG Brother’s Chanelle Hayes has spoken for the first time about her tragic mother, a junkie prostitute who was murdered.

And the BB contestant has vowed never to make the same mistakes she did.

In a heart-to-heart with her housemates, Chanelle, 19, spoke of her mum Andrea Sinclair, a street hooker who was addicted to crack cocaine.

Andrea died at the hands of a deranged sex maniac just months after Chanelle was born.

But while she opened her heart about her past, the BB star was unaware that her mother’s killer Keith Pollard, 53, has been watching her every move from behind bars at maximum security prison Full Sutton, in York.

He is due to be released from jail in August, just as this series of the Channel 4 show comes to an end.

Chanelle, who was born in prison, was adopted by social worker Harry Hayes, 55, and his wife Christine, 49, in Wakefield, West Yorks.

And she spoke out yesterday about the spiral of misery her mum experienced as drugs took over.

Chanelle told Ziggy Lichman, 26, and Gerry Stergiopoulos, 31: “People don’t realise until they’ve seen examples of stuff, until it hits them in the face and they’ve seen what it can do to other people.

“My mum was into drugs. She was like on a massive downward spiral. She got in with the wrong crowd, took drugs all the time.

“I was born in a prison, because she got locked up for doing drugs, and then she got killed.

“I just think people don’t realise, until you tell them examples, how bad things can really be.

“It was really hard for me. I always knew I was adopted, ever since I was young.” But she did not know the full horror of how her mother met her death until later.

“They told me when I was in Year 10 at school,” she said. “I was going off the rails. You learn from stuff. I’m sure if she’d been alive today she’d be very *******ing ashamed of it.

“It’s lucky that I got put into a decent family, where I got brought up well.

“Maybe that’s why she made kind of sacrifices, to give her children a better life.

“It’s just lucky that I got to meet my nana before she died.”

Pollard used a tie to strangle Chanelle’s mother in a sexual frenzy after becoming one of her regular clients.

He had taken 32-year-old Andrea to his seedy Manchester flat and remained there with her body for a full day before being arrested.

The beast had just been released from jail after getting a life sentence for killing an elderly woman by stabbing her more than 70 times at her home.

At an appeal hearing 18 months ago, Mr Justice David Clarke ruled that Pollard would be eligible for release in August.

That means he could be walking the streets by the time Chanelle emerges from the telly house. And she is terrified that she could encounter him.

A pal of Chanelle’s said: “He could even get out before she does. She knows what he did to her mother and thinks they should have thrown away the key.

“This man has already killed twice and it chills her to think he will soon be free.
“She knows that she’ll be haunted by this man for the rest of her life.

“But, in a way, the vile crime he committed is driving her on to make a success of her life.”

MURDERED prostitute’s daughter Chanelle last night finally broke her silence over her tragic past — leaving Ziggy and Gerry stunned.

The 19-year-old blonde opened up about her mum — hooker and crack addict Andrea Sinclair — after newcomer Gerry began talking about the “golden era” of raves and drug-taking in the 1990s.

Chanelle told him: “People don’t realise until they’ve seen examples of stuff. Until it hits them in the face and they’ve seen what it can do to other people.” And she added:

The Irish Sun has told how Posh Spice lookalike Chanelle was adopted at just six months old after her mum was killed in a gruesome slaughter by deranged client Keith Pollard. He is due for release in August, just as BB ends.

Chanelle was brought up by social worker Harry Hayes and his wife Christine, following the tragedy in 1988.

Housemate Gerry was visibly shocked by her revelation.

Chanelle told him: “It was really hard for me. I always knew I was adopted, ever since I was young.”

However, she said that she didn’t know the full horror of her mother’s death until later.

She continued: “They told me when I was in year ten at school. I was like, going off the rails.”

Gerry told her: “The adversities of life can only make you stronger.”

Chanelle agreed: “You learn from stuff.”

The beauty — who had a middle class upbringing with good schools and violin lessons — stressed that she felt no shame about her birth or about her real mum.

She said: “I’m sure if she’d been alive today she’d be very *********g ashamed of it.”

Chanelle tracked down her gran Annie and met her half sisters Maria, now 34, and Melissa, 27, when she was 15.

And she said: “It’s lucky that I got put into a decent family, where I got brought up well.”

Referring to her mother, she said: “Maybe that’s why she made kind of sacrifices, to give her children a better life.

“It’s just lucky that I got to meet my Nana before she died.”

After the emotional revelation, Ziggy, 26, leaned forward to comfort her with a kiss.

But the couple’s smooching is getting on the wrong side of housemates — who have accused them of behaving as if they were in a soft PORN film. Even poor Carole was shocked yesterday when the couple sneaked into the bathroom for a quick fumble — while she was in the shower.

They were forced to move into the toilet, where they propped the door open to block the camera’s view of what they were up to.

Earlier, Ziggy told Chanelle in an intimate conversation as they cuddled up: “I’ve fallen for you. I would want to see you out of here.”

As they started to snog, he sighed: “I could kiss you for ever.”

Bisexual Gerry has been treating the romps as a joke. He burst in on the pair as they snogged on the bathroom sofa in the early hours on Monday — and pretended to kiss Ziggy himself. It was Gerry who made the porn jibe. Ziggy laughed at the suggestion of soft porn and joked: “We’re getting hard.”

Cameras caught him adjusting his trousers as he got up.

But others have been less amused by the lovebirds. Bitchy Charley and Shabnam griped that Chanelle was “sucking up to the new guys” and that she regarded Charley as her rival.

They moaned about her Victoria Beckham aspirations, and Charley ranted: “I can’t stand her.”

At that point Ziggy walked in and they were forced to change the subject.

Charley then had a pop at Ziggy, saying he could never be a model because “he’s 30 years old”. She added: “I’m not being bitchy or anything.”
