does anyone else get really really pee'd off when..( on latenight livestreaming) , there is a full scale argument breaking out, and they cut to someone in another room eating a sandwich, and scratching thier armpits!!! ... "Nooo, get back to the argument!! .. that really gets my goat!!!
Last night Charley was having a big argument with Chanelle in the bathroom, about Ziggy, .. it was just heating up when ... cut to Tracey in the kitchen eating a ham sandwich. Agggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! .. they do this everytime!!!! why oh why do they do that??????

ps .. when i say "ham" .. it could have been tuna , dont quote me on that.

well if they keep the good stuff on the live show they won't have nothing to show us on the other shows

I'd be quite happy to watch a good argument more than once.. how many times have we seen Jade ripping into Shilpa?? .. it still makes good telly. Na, there's gotta be another reason they do it.. i would'nt even mind so much if they dipped the sound, but just to cut away to something boring, when you know hell is breaking loose next door drives me nuts!!!! Whoever is in charge of editing has'nt got a clue.

Yes. They are probably holding back the best stuff for later....But you are quite right to feel cheated because cheated you are. As you say a good argument is always worth a second look. Also most of the argument will have be edited out due to lack of time so you have been cheated from seeing everything in context....

nah its cus they want ratings on the 10pm show thats all they dnt wanna take the risk ov no1 watchin cus they already know what they will show

Sure they want the ratings and they would get higher ratings is they did not annoy viewers by denying them from seeing the show in its full context....

the only thing that annoys me is when they block things out and take away the sound n all u can here is birds n road works or woteva

I agree with that but I suppose they have to protect those on the outside thet they may be talking about and possibly slandering.......

However I do feel they dip the sound also when they don't need to in order to save the best conversations till later......

yeah thats true but last night chanelle was crying because all the other housemates were warning her and wotnot about ziggy saying he could be using her that was on for ages without the sound goin out

Mmmm That makes a change. Truth is British TV is so highly regulated/censored that we will never know all the reasons why the sound dips and the picture is cut to views of a camera or garden....

its all the swearin aswell cus if someone is goin to have an argument they are bound to swear or even say something that the public mite take an offence to like emily

After 10pm quite bad language is allowed according to the broadcasting code. However ever Ofcom can get involved if such bad language is prolific in nature....Prolific that is in the use of the really bad words.

So broadcaster are basically under the thumb of Ofcom and will probably tend to play safe in order to avoid being fined which could be quite a big fine if they are deemed to have broken the code of standards allowed by control freak Ofcom

you could well be right there bananarama, even though they have a 20 minute delay, maybe if something slipped through, they could get heavily fined. .. it still annoys the bejezus out of me. ( i love watching late night bitching on E4 streaming when i'm in bed ....i turn the sound up when they are whispering .. then when the advert break comes on, i have to dive for the mute button on my remote so as not to annoy the neighbours.

and me . but most of the time i would rather wait till the 10pm show because it shows all the juicy gossip thats been happenin through out the day. then get annoyed because the sound has gone off
