No because I think we will end up with a hung parliament
A 2019 reality referendum would be better

No.
Not until there is a clearer picture of no deal removed. I agree again with Rory Stewart, bring back the so called amended May deal to Parliament. Stephen Kinnock is proposing the same. Get something like that done, first. Then an election. Not at the will of a bullying and threatening PM and a hard line extreme Cabinet. So no from me to an election in this climate. I hope, really hope, Labour uses its votes to block it too. |

He's never really wanted a referendum again. He knows how divisive the last was. However the Labour party members do, being a Democrat he will do what is made Party policy at conference. In the absence of a general election, which would be really a wrong move now. He would support a referendum with, 'no deal or remain' on the ballot. However Johnson and his Cabinet will NEVER agree to that one for sure. |

And what happens if that referendum brings the same result ? It starts the merry go round all over again,Mps dont want to leave, the majority of people do

All those tory liars told you one after another; the easiest deal ever, the germans will come begging, we'll hold all the cards, we'll get a better deal easily. Where are they now? Why is your only concern that Corbyn may have changed his mind about another vote, while you never even consider the lies you were told by a campaign acting illegally?

After all these years of learning more as to real facts and not the previous misleading on both sides. Then that reinforces the original vote. The majority of MPs DO want to leave but the majority of MPs do NOT want to leave with an uncertain, dangerous 'no deal' scenario. |

Not yet, an election before Brexit is dealt with is like handing Farage the keys to number 10 and that’s something the country really doesn’t need

I voted remain and proudly would again.
Even more determinedly too. However, whether one is held or not,.I didn't like it but felt May's agreement should have been passed. Anything that the DUP and the Con ERG are against, then it must have merits, in my view. I fear an election will leave the UK where we are now, in a hung parliament again. Nothing solved. I am content to see the UK leave the EU but I'd never support any advocating even the thought of leaving with no deal. However long it takes, a deal must be in place. This PM is lying in my view only, to even indicate negotiations are taking place. I still now also think, any deal would be better put to the people again for confirmation of leaving with it, or remaining. I've changed my own mind on many things in the last 3 years, on politics, other issues and personal matters. I'm sure most people do too and have. Last edited by joeysteele; 04-09-2019 at 12:12 PM. |

Yeh, but it should be between Boris’ deal, no deal (brexit party), second referendum (labour), and remain (lib dems)
... so not until boris actually does some work.

i don't see why we should have an election because parliament at the moment is a pretty accurate representation of what the population think. That's not going to change. The country is split. It's not an issue that can be resolved without half the population being really against it. We can force a move one way or another to resolve it, and at some point that will have to happen, but neither side will ever give up on it now so the issues will never go away.

Only if Brexit is delayed first in order to avoid any underhanded tactics by Boris.
