Default Plans for British Workers to keep tips

This was announced in the Queens speech today and said that over a million people will get to keep tips rather then being forced to give them to the company they work for.

I think it's a great win for people on minimum wage whose could be helped with tips they receive

which companies were forcing employees to hand over tips?

I'm surprised the tories aren't trying to make them taxable income

I generally only tip cash for this reason, and never on the machine, and I always ask if they can keep tips, so this is good news for a change

I have a massive issue with tips in general, it's relying on customers to pay the difference for a living wage that Employers should be paying themselves.
