The Vivienne's 10-second Cilla impression was better than any Snatch Game Drag Race has produced.

Spoiler:

Divina is my favourite now. The past two weeks she’s been the top on the runway which is the biggest shock to me as she looked the exact same on every episode of All Together Now and I thought pre season she was gonna bring that cheap look but she’s blowing it out of the water.

...was Ru's very-not-allowed-on-the-BBC plugging of his suit manufacturer in the iPlayer version of the episode as well, or just the Wow Presents+ version?

(it's not a great sign that my only thoughts on this episode are "mmm I wonder if Ru breached BBC regulations or not", is it?)

Well, that snatch game was... disappointingly average?

Spoiler:

Trump was great and well executed but very predictable?
Baga was good, but annoying?
Blu had some good lines, but Mary Berry she was not!
Cheryl’s Gemma wasn’t great, she was literally just being herself, dull.
Divina was so underwhelming it’s unreal.
The less said about Sum Ting and Crystal the better x

Some of the looks were great, Divina’s look was lush, Vivienne’s was gorgeous but once again, Baga’s was a dirty stinking trashfire with no actual relevance to the runway theme?

Unfortunately the right person went, I think she peaked during the first runway.

I think Vivienne needs to distance herself from Baga in all honesty, before she gets dragged down by Baga’s awful, obnoxious attitude.

Yeah Vivienne is the only one who deserves the win at this point. Her Trump, Kim, Cilla and her Alan impressions were spot on and hilarious.

Julia Childs, Mary Berry and David Attenborough were so bad I cringed everytime they spoke.

Based on that Sum Ting Wong deserved to go. He didn't even attempt any jokes.

And the Gemma Collins one wasn't Gemma it was just a generic Essex impression.

Having said that Sum Ting is so likeable and I felt sorry for her when she gets teary. But I actually agree with Michelle that the leotard is a lazy choice. I actually think The Vivienne should've been judged more harshly for just wearing an ill fitting brown onesie with flowers stuck on it. She's better than that. But I suppose she made up for it with the prosthetic.

I liked the idea of Sum Ting's runway but the makeup needed to be 10/10 for it to work, really... the mask, as well, was pretty small and unnoticeable, and she didn't use any props until she'd walked all the way back to the end of the runway.

..yeah I really loved the idea of Sum Ting’s runway...it just lacked refinement and glam ...and she needed it to be perfect as Shaun said....her lip sync was amazing as well.....She just didn’t seem to be a very competing queen, to me...she just did her own thing and always stayed true to that...I love her.....

...I think a lot of the runways are great ideas but they just don’t quite reach stunning because as Michelle has said a few times...they need to focus more on the glamour ....above all else, they’re queens and that’s not always coming through with the themes...

It doesn't help that they're hesitant to reuse runway themes, and as a result, come up with just...confusing ones. I mean wtf does "Genetically Modified" even mean? Clearly Baga is struggling with the concept.

Just go for some basic themes (like Bond Girl, like hometown) and don't pigeon-hole them. I know they're reluctant to let another Kimonogate happen but the fact they're now giving queens specific looks to replicate in advance is really crushing the creativity (I speak in reference to the Queen Elizabeth runway, where they all just happened to have different looks despite the fact that the Queen is a basic style-less archetype that everyone would play it safe with).

Yeah Baga seemed to just go for "sci fi" costume, which is being generous. As opposed to actually being mutilated.

Yeah I prefer the broader ones as you see more creativity. Oppositely it exposes the weaker ones.

Baga is actually quite sh*t costume wise and is wearing thin.

I feel Ru and Michelle love her as the one with the funny English teeth and weird accent!

I think the episode is one of the best in RuPaul history. Yes we can all nitpick but compare to standard snatch games it was very very good.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I will say that this season is refreshing in a way that there haven't been (so far) any sob stories or queens trying to justify they did badly by crying their heart out on stage.

Now I know sometimes the show can be overwhelming for some of them and Drag Race is their place to open up and talk about it, and that's totally fine to me.
But don't do it on the main stage. You did badly, get over it, but don't justify it by a cyst/being left at a bus stop/being sick etc... It has got nothing to do with it.

It's becoming a trend in the US version that's it's almost expected every season, and I've got the feeling that some queens try to play on it.

Anyway, The Vivienne is, at this stage, the most obvious winner we've had in a very long time. I can't see anybody outdo her. Baga is a good but her looks are terrible, and Divina better step it up so she can lock her spot in top 3.
I don't see the rest of the girls doing better than those 3, but I haven't looked at the spoilers so I don't know.

I was disappointed by this episode tbh. Only Vivienne and Baga brought it in Snatch game and everyone else was pretty forgettable. Lots of bad character choices as well (Vivienne was spectacular as Trump admittedly BUT WE DESERVED KIM).

It was a good but I wanted Kim or Cilla for the Viv. That impression, ugh, so good. Viv, Davina and dare I say Blu, are my favourite.

I said it last week and I will say it again, the series is getting much much better as the weeks go on. Starting to feel just like the US version rather than some cheap spin-off like it did at first.

Snatch game was outstanding, Baga and Viv both brought it (I will concede that it should have just been a Viv win tho, Baga was outshone and don’t get started on that TERRIBLE runway...) and I actually found Cheryl quite funny too. The rest weren’t great but none were ASHAMBLES like we usually get in the US version.

I know someone said Cheryl's GC was more like a "generic Essex type" than GC herself, but I think she should've picked up a "high" placing rather than just safe for managing to engage with Ru and the panelists well... but then again her runway wasn't brilliant, anyway

Because there's no budget.

Than again, if the winner plays their cards right, a digital show could lead them to earn way more than they might have with just the 10k or so they would have likely won if there was a cash prize.
