He is an absolute bastard but he's playing the part ridiculously well. They both are. It's just a shame the story is one of the show's worst victims of block storytelling.

The storyline between Geoff and Yasmeen is quite gripping IMO. Comparing it to Gray and Chantelle's storyline on EastEnders I think Geoff/Yasmeen are playing their parts super well. The abuse is very evident but with such an abstract/ambiguous execution that I am enjoying keeping up with the toll its taking on Yasmeen AND the drip-feeding of suspicion in characters like Cathy and Brian who kind of suspect something is up but are not sure how to approach the whole situation without crossing boundaries.
