The media reacted hysterically tbh.

We dont know, it may all be for the best

I'm more interested in the new arrangements the family is going to work out.
Roles of roving ambassadors for them? It could work
Times change, new ways may prove worthwhile

Roving ambassadors

Why did this make me picture Harry stood outside the hospital working for Sky News as Kate exits with their latest child.

Sick of hearing about it what difference does it make?!

And to see not only an uproar and outrage from the country but to see this has reached 10 pages. Yet the Australia fire thread which is an actual crisis remains on 4 pages is baffling

Can we not with the "WHAT ABOUT THIS?" please. People are entitled to discuss what they want.

You're not going to get much debate in a thread simply reporting terrible news. This topic actually generates discussion. That's all there is to it.

The queen is still going and there are three heirs waiting in line

Edward could also pull his weight more instead of sitting with his trotters up in a far bigger house than Frogmore Cottage

20, 000 children died today. Where is your concern about that?

Because I'd love to know?

What this thread shows is the strength of feeling about the Royal family , good and bad. The simple fact is that its impossible to please everyone and it's impossible that they will each be liked by everyone too.

With the exception of Andrew, I think they all have something positive to offer, even taking into account the very human flaws which they all have.

Lets face it, the alternative to them would be someone like Boris or Corbyn showing up at events and being patrons of charities etc. I know which I prefer.

I'm surprised as I didn't know they could ,but the amount of media hate they've received has been unfair .

I think Harry has been wanting to seperate himself from tradition & the royal duties for some time. And I don't envy the pressure they've been put under.

And it's utter BS about the Queen not knowing , of course she knew come on now let's not be silly . They would of had to consult her and this would of most definitely been in the works for a while, there's no way they sprung this on her out the blue .

Then there's the whole process of sorting things out . Just because it's now "official" doesn't mean it was a sudden bombshell they dropped .

And obviously the media will report it , so how were they going to step down without them knowing?? so i don't understand why people are saying they should of done it quietly . If you're in the public eye with this much fame under this much scrutiny and pressure how can something like this be kept a secret?? . Obviously the media will continue to throw hate sadly Harry & Meghan's way .

Harry was thinking about his family especially Meghan and he doesn't want her to go down the same route as his mum and they have their child to think about aswell , it was horrific the treatment Diana got. And Meghan has already received a ridiculous amount of abuse where she can't win no matter what she does.

Unfortunately i don't think they'll ever be able to live a quiet peaceful life as they'll always be apart of the royal family as it comes with the title sadly . And the press will continue to harass them. I just hope it's not as bad as it's been and hopefully when they settle wherever they decide to live things will calm down etc .
