Always found this rule a bit stupid in schools tbh, just let him have his hair how he likes. I remember in my school you wasn’t allowed to have a No.1 haircut or you’d be sent home. It was a good way to get out of P.E

Maybe they should tell the school he identifies as a girl

Don’t understand what is gained from a school telling children how to wear their hair. What a stupid thing to get fixated about.

Honestly. Can anyone give a good reason how cutting his hair will improve his education?

She does have a point in that boys and girls should be treated in the same way, however I think she is driven more by pound signs that what he wants, it has been reported today she will ensure he identifies as non binary as he moves up to high school to protect his hair, I would say that is a form of child abuse if he sees himself as a boy

Let him grow it down to his ankles if he wants to. At what point is he going to start to look ridiculous? And how is this discriminatory to black kids but not to white kids?

Eh, I'd rather have a meaningless label for when I'm at school if it means I have control over my appearance. Good on his mother for using the system.
