Default Just a Gigolo

JUST A GIGOLO
EXCLUSIVE: Latest housemate is a multi-millionaire.. but works as male escort
NEW housemate Jonathan Durden is a multi-millionaire businessman who became a gigolo for kicks.

Jonathan, 49, who postponed his wedding to be on the show, runs a media agency which spans 41 countries and has a turnover of £10billion.

Although personally worth more than £5million, he recently signed up with an escort service and was paid to have sex with women.

As he was introduced to the giggling BB girls, he gasped: "I'm going to have a heart attack in a minute."

Tattooed Jonathan entered the house with three other blokes last night - while Shabnam became this year's first contestant to be evicted by the public.

The gobby 22-year-old, who received 81.4 per cent of the votes, said "I told you. I knew it, I knew it" when Davina McCall announced her eviction. She climbed the stairs saying: "I can hear booing. What have I done? I haven't done anything to be booed for. I'm fun. I've not done anything wrong."

When she emerged to a chorus of jeers, she performed a bizarre dance to try to win over the crowd.

But it did not work and Davina eventually had to go and fetch her.

When asked about her volatile friendship with Charley, Shabnam said: "I don't think unless you are there to the end of time anyone is anyone's real friend.

"She was at times very aggressive. I don't think she means any harm."

Tracey and Carole were also up for eviction - but Shabnam was overwhelming favourite.

Jonathan, who boasts of having a "fruity past", said he sold himself as an escort "for the hell of it".

The dad-of-two has survived drink and drug problems and his first wife died of alcoholism. He spent tens of thousands on therapy for himself.

Yesterday one pal said: "He's really going to shake things up. He could be the saving of Big Brother."

Jonathan was supposed to marry his girlfriend Caroline this summer but has put back the ceremony to launch his attempt to become a TV star.

He admits to have never watched Big Brother and says his sole motivation for taking part is "ego".

Following huge success with his company PHD, he plans to quit and turn his attention to books and films.
The girls were delighted at his arrival along with model Billi Bhatti, tree surgeon Liam McGough and Brian Bello, a fanatical believer in "cosmic ordering". The crowds outside were not so welcoming though - and booed Billi and Jonathan.

But they saved their real venom for housemate Charley, yelling repeatedly: "Get Charley out."

Billi, 22, is from Middlesex and appeared in the video for Jamelia's Beware of the Dog.

He has a passion for wrestling and thinks he'll be nominated for being two-faced, arrogant and vain.

Liam, 22, from Lancaster says his friends describe him as a ladies' man.

He is keen to strike up a relationship in the house.

Brian, 19, who is heavily into alternative lifestyles, introduced himself to the girls by saying: "Alright darling, alright sweetheart. You seem like a bunch of pukka people."
