Starting 23rd June, after 4 years, BB returns to France under the name Secret Story.

Im going to be following it this year, even though i speak very little french.

As I'm french I will tell you what's happening in the house everyday because I will watch it !

At the launch it will be 4 years, 11 months & 19 days (or 1,815 days) since season 2 ended - the longest gap between editions in world Big Brother history.

It has been named "Secret Story" because this year, the 14 housemates will have a big secret each, but they must not reveal it. During the game, some clues will be revealed about their identity. Each week the housemates will nominate each other and one of them will be evicted.
At the end of the 10 weeks (, there will be only one winner, and will be 300 000 Euros richer (202696.8 ÂŁ). The finale will take place the 1st of September apparently.

The launch show will take place the 23rd of June,
The daily show, monday to saturday: 6pm (5pm in Britain)
Sunday: 5:55pm (4:55pm in Britain)
The live show will take place on friday night after the 7th edition of Survivor, at 9:50pm (8:50pm in Britain).

The host is Benjamin Castaldi the same as the other 2 seasons.

Yes I think it's a great twist, I will enjoy it I think.
In France, everybody talks about it, it's a huge phenomeon, after 4 years with nothing like this, it's normal that we are all hyper. Loft Story has been like in England, a revolution in the TV.

Because the 2nd series of Loft Story in 2002, made a lot of scandals as a prostitute recalled by her boss and forced to leave during the night. The housemates killed a chicken without the permission of the production. Too many arguments. Sex scandals as a threesome in the bath and a pool orgy. All the housemates had decided to leave together but the production made some offers to them for staying in the house.
Finally, M6, the original channel has left its rights and TF1 brought it. As Endemol is the production compagny, they decided to make Secret Story, the official and the third season.

The designers decided to put the Mona Lisa everywhere in the house, in the diary room, in the lounge and maybe in the bedroom because she locks a lot of secrets which haven't been discovered yet...as Secret Story ! All about secrets then.

No I don't, I'm only joking because it has been a huge scandal in France about it. All the newspapers are joking about the "pool incident", it shocked a lot of people. Then everybody wants a new "pool incident".

4 days !!!!

Some news from yesterday:

-There will be 12 housemates (6 boys and 6 girls)on the launch night, it had been confirmed yesterday by TF1 (the channel).
-Endemol has confirmed that a pair of twins will enter but we don't know how...together or one of them in a secret house ?
-There are 2 secret houses which will host the evictees...why 2 ? Because even the evictees will be divided in 2 houses, they won't know that. Apparently the evictees will not stay one week...but more ! Interesting...
-The housemates's secrets won't be revealed on the launch night, some clues will be given during the game.
-None of the housemates are older than 30 y-o.
-The live feed will be 3 minutes 50 later. Endemol could control what's happening in the house.
-Last new thing: the housemates will enter together at 1:30am (00:30 in Britain), the launch show will normally finish at 11:30pm.

So is the launch show live then?

Yes the show is live, from 8:50pm to 11:30pm (french hour) but the housemates will enter 2 hours after the launch show, then at 1:30am, this show will be live too.
I just wanted to say, that for everyone who will watch the show, it's completely different from BB UK, you will be very surprised because normally the housemates will come on the TV stage together, talking to the host, saying their goodbyes to the families and going in the house together. Don't compare it with BB UK !
I can't wait !!!
