Default Royal bodyguard not blurred in all news websites.

The Evening Standard has blurred the face in a picture of a bodyguard behind Harry and Meghan in a car on their way to church today but Metro and OK have left his face in the same picture on their websites, they are going to be in a lot of trouble for this surely.

Are there special rules for bodyguards or something? Because otherwise, faces don't need to be blurred if the picture was taken in a public place.

it depends what branch the guard is connected with. Standard variations will not be blurred ... assassins will

Under cover police are blurred, I think it depends on the natureof the job. Or their role.

Is it by law or out of professional courtesy, though?

Well with police it’s a safety issue and you won’t be under cover if your face is all over the tv.

it should be up to the individual to wear a mask/disguise to protect anonymity
