Konami is run by idiots so this is probably the best option for these franchises.
The fact that Konami did nothing with Castlevania when Netflix was giving it a bigger profile than it ever had before just shows their incompetence. Hopefully this rumour is true since Sony will take more care of these franchises than Konami ever could. |

I can see this being true, its a win-win for Konami, they can have their cake and eat it. What makes me believe these rumours is Sony Pictures are also working on a new Silent Hill film, which they could release around the time of the new Silent Hill game (its still in pre-production so might not be hit by the coronavirus delays)

I'm sure I said a couple of weeks ago that I was praying for Sony to buy the Metal Gear IP. Maybe there is a Baby Jesus after all?
