Default Breaking news. Prisoners could be released early.

Prisoners could be released early if Coronavirus hits prisons apparently.

Also prison ships are not being ruled out.

And possibly spread the disease even further into the general population.

Just when you think that the Tory Party can't go more crazy.

With Boris as leader I can believe it without a link.

Wtf that makes no sense! , isn't the whole point is to contain the virus.

Wow we really love releasing prisoners early in the UK , thanks Boris ! . No wonder so much crime happens as they know they'll be out soon anyway .

Trying to politicise this outbreak is ridiculous.

I'm not politicizing it, the current leaders of the UK aren't handling this situation very well.

I'd say the same if it were Labour, we've got a Pandemic going on and we decide to release Prisoners into the population? That's reckless imo, no matter which Party is coming up with the idea.

Labour would never do anything this stupid , yet they were painted as the bad guys in the media at the time .

The virus will continue to get worse , no thanks to the government .

Oh c'mon now the government are being advised what to do as would Corbyn be if he had been elected,do you want our government to go against all the advice as a few armchair critics think they know better, they are doing what they can, good Lord, They cant do right from being wrong from some people.

I'm a labour supporter but I think the Government are doing their best through this crisis and Boris is doing a good job.

Nice to see an unbiased opinion Kate, its quite rare I think they are doing what they have to , not everyone will like it or agree, but no one is sure yet of this virus so we have to be sensible and its not really about politics for me,just common sense, I don't agree with some things, but I know they have all the facts ,we don't.

This is a bad decision regardless of who made it , but all I'm saying is I doubt Corbyn would of done this.

Funny thing is you think I'm bias just because I'm a labour supporter, yet what about all the hate labour got? from Tory supporters?.

Corbyn would be called an idiot if he did what Boris is doing . But sure whatever

Not by me he wouldn't be if he was following advice from experts, this really isn't about political scoring imo.

They did the crime they should take the consequences...

We’re gonna have enough to cope with out in the free world .. certainly don’t want thousands of criminals exacerbating the problem.

I agree up to a point, but if its just people who are there due to none payments of fines etc, they probably shouldn't be there in the first place.

Well we love letting prisoners out early anyway, lovely justice system that will teach them .

I don't understand the logic, the virus is supposed to be contained. Why don't we all go out then drinking etc seen its ok for infected prisoners too .

No wonder people are confused with the information they're getting.
