Charley explains the importance of being papped...

Crash bang wallop! What was that? The sound of a handbag-full of names being dropped by Charley, presumably.

The South London It Girl TM couldn't resist rolling off an electoral roll's worth of names of celebrities she'd, met, partied with, holidayed with and generally knew, to Brian, Liam and Tracey in the garden this evening, much to their amusement.

Brian looked genuinely impressed as Charley explained her life was a proper gossip-mag page-turner. "But I'm not name-dropping," she stressed. "It's my life."

As Liam stifled his giggles and Tracey just smiled and puffed on her cig, Brian wanted to know all the gory details. Charley happily revealed all, but then went serious for a minute.

"You know some people, fame goes to their head, but not me. I'm Charley from the block."

Don't worry Charley, we're not fooled by the rocks that you've got.

"Charley from the block, that's funny," said Brian in creases.

"I'm Tracey from the village, deal with it," said Tracey.

But Charley continued at top speed without taking a breath. "If I hang out with celebs, that's what I know."

"Who else?" said Brian, hungry for more names.

"You name it, I've met em," confirmed Charley. "I love the paps. They pap me because I've got the shortest skirt in London. I was in the paper the other day. Seven times."

So there you have it. It's not who you know; It's who Charley knows.
