everyone knows that giving the tories another term in office would all but end our democracy, but the thought of Starmer in charge is not a pleasant one

Starmer is no leader, he's like a rabbit in the headlights on most things, and seems pretty clueless on the whole.

The man has been gifted a once in a 100yr opportunity as a labour leader, because the next election is all about the tories. He could say he wants to shoot thine king if he gets power, and he'd still win. Instead of using that opportunity to make drastic changes away from the disaster of the last 13 years, he insists on toeing the line and keeping their policies, to appease his corporate and media paymasters.

Do you think Wes would do better? I am going off him a bit, truth be told. But as much as the left and right hate centralist's, i dunno. Maybe he wouldn't be a disaster.

I am against his privatising certain parts of the NHS, which is failing miserably under the Tories. However, the more i read from the Wes, his "person of the people" shtick is dwindling fast.

Personally, i think some common sense and understanding is needed. There is none. And us idiots, left, right, central keep arguing to the point now where we couldn't possibly unite.

We need a revolution, but it's never gonna happen in our lifetimes

It's always been a facade. That's the danger of these labour politicians, they don't really stand for anything. Wes loved Jeremys policies until the media started hitting him, now he loves starmers tory policies, if Starmer were to lose and it was someone else in charge, he'd love their policies. A man blinded by his own ambition to be leader, means that he stands for whatever he thinks will advance himself more.

I tried to warn you about this dude

As I keep saying
It's not really a drastic change either returning to the 2030 position or just going with Sunak's now non event of a change.

I am livid with Starmer, everytime he says something I just groan..
Because I do agree with Slim, that he has been it seems gifted with a great chance to really change things bigtime.

I want this sickening government out.
For the NHS, the poorest, most vulnerable and sick and disabled.
I really am disappointed with the now likely policies that Starmer will present.
That disappointment at that however will be nothing as compared to thinking this rotten FROM the core current Con Party possibly winning again.

Anything that now gets them out is desirable to me.
I will however be very irritated at just what more Labour could have been really setting out to do with this chance at their feet.

I don't get how people can even be bothered to discuss politics anymore.

Because at a General Election
all in the UK
can change the PM.

On the Brexit Vote in 2016,
I noticed many people,
voting that were Never at the
normal elections.
So Referendums have a
Massive Super Power.

Politics is all about Change

I likely wouldn't have agreed with a lot Mrs Thatcher did.
However she I understood believed holding a referendum as a failure of governnent
So in that I agree.

You can't have a really fair UK wide referendum with a binary question, where England has almost 4 times the voting strength of N.Ireland, Scotland and Wales put together.
However England votes in any referendum, that is the much more than likely result.

For me politics, is life, the governments we elect and all the MPs have a big effect on our lives, families and incomes/livelihoods.

However as to parmnion's point.
I feel so disappointed and even shame at how badly the UK is now served by all leaders and all Parties across politics.
It's really depressing.

Yes Joey

David Cameron MP
rushed a In or Out vote,
some who voted out
did it just to get rid of Cameron.
