I don’t know exactly there a farm just down from my parents that started fruit farming a good few years ago.

Pickers mostly come over with their girlfriends and when they are not working walk to the village in groups of four in general some times more.

They are young they work all season then go home I did see a group of maybe 7 men and women on a walk the other day they were sitting alll together.

Many years ago English gypsy would travel to farms for fruit and vegetables harvesting then in the seventies and eighties large numbers of Spanish men and women would do it and then it would be done by Indians who would be bought by mini buses to the farms to work.

I didn’t think Cummings is/was an mp .. he’s supposed to have a brilliant mind for things .. that’s why he could resign and give the Labour Party the ‘sense of the kill’ but just carry on advising behind the scenes .. ( as Jose famously did ‘that’ time )

About half the 18,200 fines issued to people for breaking coronavirus rules up to May 10 were not complete and have been sent back to police and local council officials for improvement, the public prosecution department said on Friday.

The fines have been deemed incomplete because they either don’t include a proper description of why they were issued, they miss relevant documents or personal details don’t add up, the department said.

By May 10, 18,200 fines had been issued by wardens and police officers – earlier estimates of 10,000 fines did not include those handed out by local authority wardens.

I've done it myself when I was a teenager.

No, I’d say it was a honest days pay for an honest days work.

Two young polish men did die about five years back after getting pulled into a machine on the farm down the road from my parents.
