Well the man that reported him got the number plate of the vehicle so thats easy enough for police to prove or disprove, and on that note anyone know why the police were knocking Cummings door earlier today ?

I do think Boris has made a big mistake by not sacking him...especially considering the publicity this has got. DC should have done the decent thing and resigned for the sake of his party.

If only there was a Prime Minister in charge who, having almost died from coronavirus, understood the importance of everyone adhering to the lockdown measures

We do know the facts, he did it, his wife wrote an article about looking after the kid while they were ill, they didn’t need childcare, they travelled unnecessarily, you don’t know the facts because you choose to hear one side of the story

exactly what i'm starting to doubt, if Boris ever had corona in the first place

because a coronavirus survivor would know how horrible this virus is, and how important it is to stay home (and would then know Cummings is in the wrong)

The government now have zero right to have officials implement fines to people caught breaking lockdown rules, everyone in the land now has a get out of jail free card because they’ve stated that you can do whatever you see fit as long as it’s your ‘instincts’

I’ll be expecting everyone who was fined will be getting refunds?

Only the first wave, too. If we get the expected 2nd wave, a lot of avoidable deaths will follow the example of the government rather than their empty words.

Boris of all people essentially telling the thousands of parents that actually sacrificed and followed the rules that they’re bad parents and don’t love their children

So he didn’t break any rules, and if any of us find ourselves in the same position we can do likewise.
No doubt we will now hear of people travelling to their parents or other family members in the name of finding childcare.
Get those BBQs ready.

I'm sure if we were worried about a child we would do things we shouldn't, my friend lost her son last week, I automatically hugged her , totally forgot about a virus ,it happens , as for DC we know the outline of the case but not the details, do you really think he would do that for fun ? I am no fan of his but we all panic when our kids are ill and probably don't think straight, they are only human, so no we don't know all the facts.

An absolute farce. That's it now....everyone will just be able to say they are seeking out the right kind of childcare.

His kid wasn’t ill, it was nothing to do with his kid, that’s the excuse they’re using now to make it seem more relatable, his kid was never ill, him and his wife were, read the actual story if you don’t know what’s happening

this isn't going to go away. If Boris wants continued support from the public, he will have to get rid of him
