We're not discussing police, camera, action. There was no "situation" for her to get control of. He was polite and compliant with everything she asked.

She asks for him to stand and then gives him no time to do so before grabbing him to slap the cuffs on. She was not justified.

Once she told him she was detaining him she is well within her legal right to hand cuff him.

He can protest but the law is the law.

Police are just men and women in uniform.

There was a serving police officer in this country who recently strangled his lover to death.

You have to treat people as individuals and not tar every one with the same brush.

Nobody's tarring people with brushes. She's being judged on her poor performance in that video.

The lockdown has been relaxed, you can socialise if you social distance. Do you read the news?

I have been socialising anyway, while keeping distance when having or seeing friends and relatives we sit in the respective gardens, keeping distance.

But not loitering in public areas, like that particular gentleman seemed to be (from the news)

He wasn't loitering, he clearly stated he lives in the area and was meeting friends in the fresh air.

The lockdown rules clearly state that is perfectly fine.

He was arrested for (no idea) and taken for random drug test.

I have had lots. My most recent experience was one of great understanding and compassion from the officers involved but I can also say I’ve had row with police calling me names as I gave them a piece of my mind.

And then there have been those that are pumped up and like having a power trip but they are soon put in their place when i know I’ve done nothing wrong.
I got pulled over as I left the school fete...my mum and child in the car. Police were waiting outside the school gates and clocking people driving off before putting on seat belts...then radioed ahead and I got pulled over further down the road. I was told to get out the car and had my rights thrown at me like a criminal. I got back in the car and burst into tears...I know I was in the wrong but talk about laying it on thick...
