In the meantime episode 1 of the second season of Werq the World is still not released despite having June 2nd as premiere date, and WoW is silent about it.
Makes me wonder if AS5 will even air in the US tonight. Last edited by Captain.Remy; 05-06-2020 at 01:37 PM. |

Just watched, thought it was a good Ep, but I’d have sent Mayhem home I really don’t know why she’s even there, she didn’t deliver on her season and she’s failed to deliver at the most opportune moment

That was a good episode but the main moment for me was Yvie lip-syncing and reminding me exactly why I supported her throughout S11.

Thought it was a good first ep
Mariahs performance was something I was not expecting but it was great. Jujubee's was great too, she actually has a good voice! Shea and India also did good. Blairs was a little crap imo idk how she was safe.. Derrick and Mayhem deserved bottom 2, both of theirs were awful. Onginas was bad too but it was a little more entertaining than the other two. India was robbed of winning the lipsync tbh, Yvie brought the same old tricks she did last season.. In the wise words of Rajah O'hara: "I'm not gagging. I mean I'm gagging from like *sniff* the smell. It's like, bitch, do you bathe?"

Watching it now, thanks for the link
![]() The Derrick/India drama is confusing and not really that specific enough to be entertaining or of interest so it's just a bit of filler at this point... but damn, Derrick really has no self-awareness and is willing to sleepwalk right into another "petty, dumb bitch" edit ![]() The reading challenge was alright, loved Blair's India read and Mariah's rose petals ![]() Alexis' performance ![]()

I really enjoyed the episode last night considering we now know exactly what to expect from the first episode of an All Stars season. The entrance looks were fine, the reading challenge was actually pretty funny (minus Ongina...) and I also enjoyed most of the performances in the talent show. Ricky Martin was also a really entertaining guest judge and it was pretty endearing to see him having such a ball during the taping.
The Derrick/India drama was great for one episode and the outcome of the episode became pretty clear once it was decided that India was the winner of the challenge. I love Derrick and would've preferred a Mayhem elimination as I feel like Derrick has more to offer... but I can't be too mad! 1. Jujubee - 2. Shea Couleé 3. Derrick Barry 4. India Ferrah 5. Alexis Mateo - 6. Blair St. Clair 7. Miz Cracker 8. Mariah Paris Balenciaga - 9. Mayhem Miller 10. Ongina |

THAT LIPSYNC
![]() ![]() I agreed with the bottom two, although I'd have had Jujubee in the top 3 over Cracker but then I am biased ![]() I was surprised by Mariah's performance... I didn't know what to expect but given the state of the world at the moment it was something that really threw me off balance. It didn't make much use of the stage though and I guess making a statement is always going to leave the audience less entertained than a neck-breaking choreo number.

A strong first episode. I'm glad the India / Derrick drama is out of the way. That **** would of been tiring. Out of the performances Shea, Mariah, Juju and India impressed me the most. I do like the concept of the new twist it's execution is just a little confusing at first.
Derrick was right to go home first, I think this episode has told me that I really need to watch S8 again at some point because I actually liked Derrick in that season but can't stand him now ![]() ![]() |

I watched both the main episode and untucked live last night, and they've changed things a bit with the eliminated queen. Instead of the eliminated queen write their lipstick message at the end of the main episode, they are doing it at the end of untucked.
Also, if you want to know the voting breakdown, just go to the wikipedia page; although I can say the vote was 8-2 (7-2 if you exclude India).

In terms of how I would've ranked the performances:
TOP: Mariah, Cracker and Alexis (would've been Jujubee but I heard she lip-synced her song?) SAFE: Blair, India, Jujubee and Shea BOTTOM: Mayhem, Ongina and Derrick (even though I kind of love how much of a hot mess it was) Last edited by Braden; 06-06-2020 at 03:59 PM. |

The talent shows really do nothing for me anymore. It's just queens lip-syncing/dancing to their original songs to try and get more exposure. Which is why I LOVE performances like Gia's from AS3, or Mariah's from this ep, that actually have meaningful context to them.
Having said that, I did love Alexis, Juju and India's performances, and I absolutely think India should've won that lip sync. Not too bothered about the elimination but I hope the drama will come from somewhere good this season as clearly Derrick was cast mainly for the fights/arguments. Also really liked Ricky Martin as a guest judge ![]() Anyone have any tea on who the other lip sync assassins are gonna be this season?

I find Cracker and Blair SO underwhelming as well but I'm assuming fan pandering will mean they end up as the final two.
