Default How good were you at social distancing before Coronavirus?

For example in a supermarket did you try to stay a certain distance behind the person in front of you in a queue or were you incredibly near them?

I would say I have always been good at social distancing

I’d say that I’d try to keep a respectable distance, nobody appreciates somebody breathing down their neck

Great.. I'm not a 'hugger', put it this way if someone I didn't give birth to comes at me for a hug I will physically recoil in horror.

This is so me too Kizzy The girls at my works know that if I give them a pinch or an arm squeeze that's the same as a massive hug. All this social distancing has been the best thing for me

...not very, I’m a huge hugger...psychologically/emotionally, it’s quite a difficult thing for something which is a part of who you are , to now feel terrifying...and I guess that none of us know whether that’ll impact long term etc or fade quite quickly...

Feel like it would be so weird to go back to January now and experience how close we used to get to people. Not so much at the shops etc but at something like a football match where I'd happily pack right in with a load of strangers and any goal would see everyone clambering all over each other etc.

OK I'll make an exception ... virtual hug for you Ammi

My daughter is the same she's struggling and is in tears when she has to say bye to me or her nan (through glass!) because it's just so alien to her not to hug us

Hopefully next year this will all just be a bad dream for most and we can replace the heartache with some lovely new happy memories x

Haha! Oddly once or twice I've felt the urge to hug people, it's such a relief when I realise it's not allowed

Don’t like parties anyway, have a small group we socialise with so its not been a big struggle for us tbf

Coronavirus has got rid of the need for awkward hugs when you meet someone you havent seen for a while on the street so that’s a plus!

...Kizzy......and a huge hug for your daughter as well......when she feels it’s safe to hug you both again, I know that it’ll be the most wonderful hug of her life...and for you and your mum as well, you’ll both feel every emotion running through her.....
