Hmm I've found that both are pretty similar to each other (re: humour) from those I've met but I think everything is funnier anyway when they say anything compared to UK'ers

I lived and worked for a year in the US....initially in Conneticut and then in South Carolina. I loved both places....CT was 40 mins on the train to NYC and the weather in the South was lovely. The people were really friendly but there was still a huge race divide that shocked me. It was back in the late 90s though so I would hope its better now

Still love the UK though

Of the identified Britain.
I'd prefer to live in Scotland.

Although my preference of this area of the globe would be the Republic of Ireland.
Which would not want to be termed British at all I'm sure.
No wonder too.
Where my Mum moved to and I've yet to look at that move for myself too.
Due to committments here on England.

Never ever the USA however.
I've relatives in the USA and Canada but would never want to live there permanently.

Britain for me.

Nothing against any of the other options, just suits me better to be where I am.

I do have plans to move to America sometime in the next ten years but I know if feel more safe in Britain and life isn't as expensive but America offers so more more to do with your life
