He's so odd.

He does at least seem a little more human in this because you can see that little bit of him shining through that's just a guy who is interested in tech sat geeking out in a bedroom somewhere getting genuinely excited about the possibilities, and not a billionaire CEO. He shows some obvious signs of social anxiety just making this uncontroversial video with a YouTuber, which makes it much more understandable that he came off as completely bizarre when hauled in front of courts. His adrenaline will have been doing loop-the-loops round his chest.

I think it might be a ways off though, it's looking like 8k is going to be the "peak" of TV performance in terms of resolution (anything greater will be imperceptible) but that means that, in theory, to match a physical screen your AR glasses would have to be able to project an image GREATER than 8k total at 60hz or better. That's a LOT of graphics processing power to stuff into a pair of glasses, unless you have them attached to a backpack full of the real tech.

For movies etc. though you only really need 24hz so "virtual cinema" should come much sooner. Just won't be a full replacement for a physical display for all purposes.

Also graphics tech is having a little golden age right now, so in 10 - 15 years who knows what will be possible.

Most people I know stopped using Facebook about 3 or 4 years back to be honest. I did have to use it recently to find a new gardener though, cos my old one was really unreliable. And also HIS Facebook was full of Brexit/sectarian stuff .

My wife has one of these. Great phone specs-wise but it is an absolute brick... properly massive and heavy. If she's been using it for more than 10 minutes it leaves an indent on her hand where it rests.

The USB-C adapters work fine, mostly. Absolute pain in the arse if you lose it, though.

It's an area that apple are heavily into as well so you just know with several heavyweights going at it, it's going to be amazing, wherever it finally ends up
