I genuinely don't even see what the issue is?

Although I don't see the appeal of Harry anymore, preferred when he wore bandanas and biker look personally

He looks great and I doubt he gives a fuck what anyone thinks, nor should he.

Ben Shapiro is a snowflake that appeals only to the gullible.

Either way Harry is laughing as he's staying relevant by drawing attention to himself. So it's clearly a ploy.

I don't care either , but everyone kicking up a fuss still keeps him talked about. Which is obviously what he wants. But I was never really a fan of 1D or Harry .

...I’m not familiar with Candace Owens, I had to look her up...

‘Bring back manly men.’...this feels like quite a dismissive and dangerous mindset in view of still some society thoughts/judgements on things like female on male domestic violence...

Yeah, I think he looks great anyway.
Also, wearing a dress does not make him less of a man.

What manly men do they want brought back? The manly men who thought a woman's place was in the kitchen?

I wonder if it's also the same people that tell males to "man up " when facing depression & mental health.

I don’t see a problem, unless you look better in a dress than your mrs.

FFS he can wear whatever he wants! I don't particularly like the dress, but I don't give a **** that he's wearing a dress. It's not that long ago that male UK politicians wore heels, wigs and make-up .

The "manly men" concept is also utter nonsense, too. Plenty of men who would traditionally be considered "less manly" have very high emotional resilience and self-esteem, plenty of men who spend their lives "manning up" and hiding behind a gruff exterior are emotionally volatile and covering up awful mental health. Certainly, I know for a fact that MANY of the older generation of men (75+), having spent their entire lives being "strong and manly", end up suffering from crippling anxiety in old age when the dam breaks and it all starts pouring out.

We're not in cave-men times, even wars are fought with tech and information not by "the toughest fellars", intelligence, emotional resilience and robust self-esteem are what "strong people" need in the 21st century, not bruised knuckles and a gruff exterior.

Absolutely. What does Ben Shapiro want to do, send him down the mines to toughen him up? Maybe he should just worry about himself and his anger issues

Shapiro is a bit unbearable, his voice really pisses me off ... I will admit some of his videos of "owning" students can be amusing, but his arguments are only watertight when they're against people who don't really know anything yet.

I don't know why he's even banging this drum, I doubt a single person gives a flying crap what a mediocre pop star wears. Harry Styles is not David Bowie; he's not a trendsetter or groundbreaker, and his music is aimed at females so it's not like a bunch of men are going to start wearing dresses because he did

Pretty much.

I've seen so many mysognists make out that women are responsible for men's mental health issues and then those people then say **** like this. Toxic masculinity is a disease.

If anyone's gonna have an ideal of 'manliness' to live up to, it should be one of acceptance of other people and doing your own thing because the idea of adhering to a standard set by other people and fearing judgement if you don't is as far away from 'manliness' as I could imagine. A man that isn't threatened by the choices of others that aren't related to him is far more attractive than someone who bends over backwards to defend a narrow view of masculinity that diminishes others.
