Those poor workers having their Christmas holiday interrupted by having to go to work.

If you go shopping on Boxing day, then be sure to thank the workers for their sacrifice.

Bet you still see people having round trolleys piled up almost higher than their head. Because clearly, a day or two without shops means we are all going to starve!

I feel bad for the workers tbh. Unless they WANT to do it, if its double time or something. Will be hugely **** to just rota in random people :S

Asda have given them the day off with the option to work if they wish to, for double time.

This just makes Morrison's and Tesco seem greedy and unappreciative of their staff.

...it’s crazy, those working for supermarket chains have worked so hard through this ...let them be with their family unit/bubble...and give them that double pay anyway to thank them, as the supermarkets have thrived through this...so a bonus day for their staff for Christmas Day... not a working day...

First time in a long time
...we’re worked and are working our way through a pandemic...getting through Boxing Day without going to a shop will be a breeze, Arista...
