Default Henry to sign for Barcelona

As an Arsenal fan, I'm distraught that Henry is leaving. The spine has been ripped out of the team. I think it's only a mater of time before Arsene Wenger leaves too.

I cannot see Wenger staying beyond the end of his contract to be honest.I'd imagine some of the players who Wenger signed who respect him so much would follow him out of the door and all.

Tough times for Arsenal.

Indeed Dan. The heart of that great team has gone. Viera, Pires and now Henry. We may struggle next season.

Do you reckon there will be much to spend in the summer?

At least you've got some decent young players.Walcott might step up next season and a few players that did well in the youth cup might do okay.

It's just a transitional period but you'll come good.

I hope so.

We've got loads of good youngster Eboue, Clichy, Fabregas, Adebayour, Walcott and other. I can't see Wenger staying so we need to continue what he's built.

Basically it's all down to money. Arsenal don't have as much of it as Chelsea and Man Utd, so they can't compete with them and aren't likely to be challenging for the league next season. That's why Henry has left.

It would be a shame not to see Wenger in charge when all of these players are hitting their peak as he's brought them all through.

I wonder who Arsenal would go for if Wenger did leave.

That's the big question. I can't think who either.

I think we'll be OK. I was expecting Henry to go last year and when he decided to stay I thought he'd retire at Arsenal. He3's got a nEnglish wife too, so I'm disappointed in him.
