Warrior - it's sort of like a peaky blinders (another show you should watch) gangster show set in San Francisco not long after the civil war, based around gangland/opium wars between rival Chinese factions and the Irish.

I love Peaky Blinders! The worst thing about this year (apart from all the deaths obvs) was the new series’ of PB and Line of Dury being delayed

It was curious watching Mr Robot through the lens of 2020 as you could view / accuse it as kind of anti-Chinese in places.

Have you watched S3 yet? I’m annoyed at myself tbh.. I planned on watching a few last night but ended up bingeing until 2am and now I’ve only got two left to watch

It’s so good Nicky! I didn’t think it looked like my kind of thing, but I love it!
I don’t know what age you are, but for those old enough to have loved The Karate Kid films, it’s very nostalgic too

The Expanse is fantastic if Lee likes Sci-Fi anyway.

We actually started Afterlife last night.. it’s a wee bit depressing tbh

Will definitely have a look at I May Destroy You and Pose 😊

Afterlife is very good so bear with it.

The Fall
The Crown
The Queens Gambit we are watching now...

This is a classic show, the best is series 4 where it really takes off. If you haven't already watched it then watch Episode 11 'The Contest' it is disgusting but brilliant...

Loved The Fall (and Jamie Dornan!)
I keep threatening to watch The Crown, but never get round to it.. I have zero interest in the Royal family but I think I may still enjoy it?
My colleague recommended Queens Gambit too.. might give it a shot 😊

I didn't think I'd like The Crown but I do, doesn't paint any of them in a great light though so far bar Prince Philips mother

Queens Gambit is very good

I’m only half way through series 3 so I’ll get there eventually. Great that from this series there’s a LOT of episodes each time.

I just love it. Been one of those shows that I’ve always heard of but never saw and relegated it to the same type of thing as “Friends” (which I’m not a fan of shamefully) before giving it a chance. I think I just love that it’s so mundane and pointless yet so funny regardless.

I watched it in two sessions on January 1st, but I don't mind because I like re-watching them.

The other computer-type show I liked in recent years is Halt and Catch Fire. It's about a group of people working in the computer industry in the 80s and early-90s, so Ithat aspect of it was up my street. But it is also about their lives and relationships. Lee Pace is great in it - a really interesting character.

It's brilliant and nothing like 'Friends' but I think people assume that because its an american sitcom from the 90's but it's sooo much better. Keep an eye on Kramer cos his character just keeps getting more and more bonkers... and when George starts referring to himself in the third person it's just hysterical
