Lateral flow tests aren't for people with symptoms.

But also no they're not as accurate in general.

Pcr is the proper test. I wonder how many are using them and infecting others? Because that’s 2/2 out of people I know so I can’t imagine the accuracy being anymore than 60% which is pretty poor
they require a significant viral load before they show as positive i believe. That's why the trump administration would test negative for days after a covid contact and then boom it would show as positive after several days

So with people speculating that the lockdown may be extended by 2 weeks or even a month .. what are people’s thoughts on air flight/s are they likely to get more and more frequent now or is there a possibility they may all get grounded again over the summer ?

Cases still soaring tbh. Good news, not reflected in death numbers thus far. Not so good news, there is a definite and sustained increase in both hospital and ventilator figures, and overall that is still likely to translate into increased deaths in the coming weeks if it continues to rise.

Cases rising much faster than hospitalisations and deaths is a good sign and indicative of the vaccine being effective.

So many people have not yet been vaccinated fully if vaccinated at all, that the infection rate is bound to rise. if the death rate rises above 100 then we have cause for concern

cases are not exactly soaring they started surge testing in Greater Manchester yesterday and its 2,000 more than last week, we have no idea how many of these cases are asymptomatic

forever is a long time, but we should keep social distancing in place until the infection rate is right down, and it would probably help the nations health if we had it in place during the flu season
