I was in central London last night and it's great to see so many people enjoying themselves.
They were preparing for the Suicide Squad premiere in Leicester Square.

Oh yeah I’m not saying we’re the worst by any means but we’re not out of the woods given many other countries have been in great situations but are now struggling again.

Yeah that’s great news .. it’s been rough around here for what seems forever .

It’s easy for others to be oh so positive when they’re not experiencing the numbers we have had for the last 18 months .

the australians became complacent and put no priority on vaccination, thats what is causing their current problems. All the countries struggling now put no priority on vaccination

[Norway delays end to COVID lockdown for second time
Norway has again delayed ending its COVID lockdown
due to ongoing fears over the Delta variant.
Health minister Bent Hoie confirmed the decision today,
adding a new assessment will be made in mid-August.

The easing of Norway’s final restrictions was
first delayed on July 5, with indoor gatherings limited to
20 people and restaurants limited to table service only.]

I'm in Bournemouth today.
Even though it's windy the beach full.
But it's big enough to social distance.

Waitrose Delivery Drivers
that get pinged are allowed a Daily Instant Test.
At the Depot
But supermarket workers are not.

The Iceland CEO stated that's wrong
but does he know the amount of Instant test kits
he would need?

I have rapid tests at home.
The pharmacy is giving them out for free.

The lateral flow tests are crap. Marginally better than nothing - if it comes up positive, you probably have Covid - but if it comes up negative it really means nowt, the false-negative rate for them is through the roof.

PCR test is the only way to be close to accurate.

I opened one of those multi packs today cause another engineer tested positive for the third time last night..

I tossed it aside complaining to everyone about needing a degree in chemistry to work that **** out.

I went back back minutes later to tell them I meant to say chemistry and woodwork.

Higher than yesterday though and it’s stopped that 7 day decrease ..

Deaths up over last week - also hospitalisations and patients needing ventilation far higher than last week - 33% increase over 7 days

Hopefully it’s just a one off

There should be instructions inside.
