I’m don’t think it actually originated/mutated in the UK tbh ..

As from what I understand we were simply the first to identify it due to the extensive testing we’ve been doing in this country ( and go public with it ) .

It’s possibly been spreading all around the world for some time ..

Its not really the UK variant ~ its just that it was discovered here , so they don't really need any connection to the UK to have the mutation.

Ach! The image is showing for me.. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong tbh.

Tbh I’m not awfully down about our situation.. I feel safe, I’ve got a roof over my head, food in the cupboard, and wine, bog roll and Netflix. We as a family have genuinely been through so much worse than being asked to stay cosy at home, but it hurts my soul a wee bit when I read ****e online as I said above.

...Lee......it’s so heartbreaking to see how hopeless and broken some NHS workers are when they’ve worked so tirelessly throughout and yet the situation has still become what it is atm...it just feels so bleak...I’ve felt and said from the beginning that people aren’t all living the same virus, is the thing...it doesn’t help that we have a government that conflicts so much with its guidance either...
