Infections down today again ... that’s two days of figures around 44,000 ..

Pretty sure that last week each day the infection numbers were between 55,000 and 60,000 ..

That’s quite a drop isn’t it ?

Unless they were both due the weekend lag ??

now some regulations as of tomorrow morning

- 1.5 metre social distance rule for students at high school back



some numbers since the lockdown

cases have dropped from 56.440 to 49.398 (a decrease of 12%)

also the number of people with positive test dropped from 13.7 to 12.8%

the effect of lockdown is mostly visible in age group of people above 30 (speaking of hospitalisation and ICU decrease)

so the lockdown works, so it is good that has been extended for another 3 weeks

just to talk about how bad it looks right now in London, in terms of daily new cases, and also at his hospital, at ICU's which is very stressful atm

400,000 have had their second jab ..


Does the 2.4 million include the 400,000 thought as if it does it means that actually just 2 million have been vaccinated .

yesterday they said 2.6 million jabs had been given out to 2.3 million people so I don't think it includes second jabs, not seen the numbers today
