Yes it is.
This I can go along with completely.

Australia: audience is welcome at the Australian Open, 30.000 people a day, spread across the multiple venues, socially distanced

the coronavirus there seems to be under control at the moment

30.000 is a lot less than normal still (normally you got like 800.000 people in audiences)

still whoever enters the country requires 14 days (2 weeks) in quarantaine, on own costs

the tournament starts 8th February

Health chiefs in the London borough with some of the highest Covid-19 infection rates in the country today warned they were facing a “significant” problem from people refusing the vaccine.

Newham has the second largest number of coronavirus cases in London with 1,406.3 per 100,000 people. It has seen 442 coronavirus-related deaths registered up until January 1 and almost 5,000 new cases were recorded last week.

But Jason Strelitz, director of public health in Newham, said local NHS staff had become concerned about the “uptake and pace” of the vaccine rollout since it started in December.

I think first we need to vaccinate all our vulnerable categories.
Then we may able to help other countries who need it.

??

these are venues which can easily manage up to 800.000 people, so the 30.000 over 3 or 4 venues is still a small amount and can easily be managed with social distancing

There shouldn't be any question of supply issues, there should be a gargantuan global pot of money being funnelled into massive production facilities on every continent. The fact that we're relying on the capitalist model for vaccine purchase/manufacture/supply & distribution is utterly insane.

..perfectly said, the world organisations and governments need to get together with this to ensure that vulnerable/high risk are vaccinated globally, rather than the squabbling that’s been happening...

The World Health Organization (WHO) has criticised the EU's announcement of export controls on vaccines produced within the bloc, saying such measures risked prolonging the pandemic.
The EU introduced the measure amid a row with vaccine manufacturers over delivery shortfalls.

Isn’t that what Covax has been set up to do?

Sarah is Gove MP 's Wife. (for any that do not know)

[Sarah Vine: A plague on the airheads laughing
at our lockdown misery from Dubai]

[What's the collective noun for a 'celebrity influencer'?
A pout? A preen? A freebie? An airbrush?
Any or all would do, I'd say.
I would probably settle for a vacuum, on the basis
that nothing fits the description of a space devoid
of matter quite as well as this
breed of glossy, self-obsessed airheads.

They were everywhere last week after the
Government introduced a two-week quarantine
for travellers returning from Dubai,
which is the natural habitat of the common-or-garden
British influencer.
Makes sense, I suppose: Dubai is an overpriced, artificial city
wholly devoid of the slightest scintilla of culture.
In other words, celebrity influencer heaven.]
