Default Sexual assault allegations against (S11) Soju resurface; she deletes social media

Twitter's a bit of a bleak read at the moment with allegations flooding in all over the place, but there've been rumours around Soju being... er... disgusting for a good couple of years now but a couple of survivors have come forward with very detailed posts about what they allege have happened to them. Of course I should warn that some of these are graphic, so don't read if anything along those lines are triggering (some very frank descriptions of rape, emotional manipulation, coercion and threatening behaviour).

Soju seems to have since deleted her Twitter account and privatised her Instagram, but not released any comment yet.

There are also a handful of people referring to some kind of allegations against current Drag Race UK queen A'Whora but I haven't read enough to comment on that and am wary of believing everything I read, especially after last year and a bunch of people falsely accusing Brita from S12 of a bunch of sexual misconduct in amongst the Sherry Pie scandal.

So traumatised they continued to meet up with him and be assaulted. Get a grip. If anyone I didn’t like tried flirting with my like that I’d tell them no and move the **** on

Just like countless rape victims or women under the influence of their violent husbands or any other similar case. Are they at fault too? Stockholm syndrome anyone? The human behaviour remains complicated. It's not just "leave it if you don't like it and move on"

And referring to the guy speaking against A'whora, he said he was on shift? Not knowing all circumstances but surely it would have been hard to just leave his job and it's that easy? Some people just don't have the same mentality to say "I don't like it I tell them no and move on"
It's way more complicated than that.

Anyway, I believe victims should speak up and press charges, as hard as it can be, so that a full investigation can be conducted and justice be brought to the situation.

It just seems like they’ve decided now they didn’t like what happened and are now upset

It can take a long time for victims to speak up about what happened. It can be incredibly hard. So let's not judge them or assume what they are feeling, please.

Very jarring to read, I hope that awful man is charged for his crimes.

..it’s so, so sad and heartbreaking that with one of those victims...?...they’ve said that this will be the only time they speak of their abuse because they’re not someone who inserts themselves in drama...?...that, that’s how they see it...speaking about their abuse as being a ‘drama’ thing and just holding it within themselves to not draw attention...?..that’s just so incredible sad but also how some abuse victims feel...I don’t know Soju, if I watched her series, I don’t recall her...but I’m so glad that her victims are speaking out now and hopefully giving strength to each other to feel they can do that...
