Margot Robbie, Christian Bale and John David Washington were seen filming a scene for director David O. Russell's untitled project in Los Angeles on Monday.

Bale was donning a brown tweed three-piece suit with a dark brown hat and brown loafers, carrying an envelope in one hand as he clutched Robbie's arm with the other amid the filming sequence in the City of Angels.

Robbie wore an all-black ensemble of a long coat with a button up top, slacks and brown shoes.



The Wolf of Wall Street actress donned a curly black wig for the sequence, topping it off with a black hat.

Washington, currently appearing in the new Netflix release Malcolm & Marie donned a navy blue three-piece suit with a red tie and brown hat as he clutched Robbie's other arm in the latest project for the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker.

The trio of stars were seen walking up a hill, with Robbie's character losing her balance at one point and the men looking to catch her fall.

Russell, the director of films such as Silver Linings Playbook, I Heart Huckabees and American Hustle, also penned the script for the motion picture.



He's loaded the project with an ensemble cast full of big names, as other performers cast in the movie include Robert De Niro, Chris Rock, Zoe Saldana, Rami Malek, Mike Myers, Anya Taylor-Joy, Timothy Olyphant and Alessandro Nivola, as well as Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough and Matthias Schoenaerts, Deadline reported last month.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who has collaborated with Russell on Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy, is not linked to the project, as she's currently making the movie Don't Look Up.
