Default Hammersmith Bridge new Ferry Crosssing £1:50 a trip

2027 was the date for it to finish

164 Million Pounds Bill for Repair
Hammersmith & Fulham Council
have been Instructed By the Government to
pay Half of that.
They do not have that kind of Funds.

So work has not even started yet
No one, even a bike can cross the bridge.

we used to get a wee crossing by a tiny boat at the back of Ham house across the thames to get to a wee play park looking over richmond. used to walk down with the eldest in her pram, cross in the wee boat and come back. It was 40p return and the guy had been doing it for like 30 years.

Feel so sorry for the residents, if they don’t have to pay to walk across the bridge why is the Mayor charging them to do so, it’s not their fault the bridge has not been maintained and has to close, it’s already been closed for a year?
