Default Prince Harry reveals why he stepped down

Prince Harry has revealed he stepped back from his royal duties because the British press was "toxic" and was "destroying" his mental health.

More here

https://news.sky.com/story/prince-ha...ealth-12229258

Pretty much what lots of people already assumed then.

How cute that the queen sent Archie a waffle maker for Christmas

It's also good to hear Harry say they still have regular contact/chats on zoom with his Grandmother and Grandfather which is pretty much the opposite from what the toxic press would have us believe.

Really interesting and worrying too as his concerns on his own mental health too.
No one should be so tormented by so called professional journalism, or from others, to end up feeling their own mental health is at risk.

Add to that, the acidic cruel character assassination of his wife.
No wonder he had to head off to a new life.

Not a prison where he's not seen or heard of anymore but a new life, which HE and his WIFE can control easier for their sanity and security.

I still can't get my head around why the wedding went ahead as it did when he could have pulled the rug then, it would have been more understandable to me anyway if he had pulled away at that point.

I don't think that's exactly surprising, but it's good to see the gutter press getting called out.

I read this article and felt it deserved its own thread Arista, it's about Harry and his own words/reasoning it's not about him and Meghan or him and William etc.

The interview was brilliant, not a Corden fan, but he seemed to really relax Harry

...this is solely Prince Harry's words however, so I'd say relevant to that.

Where concentration is more on his thinking and why HE made the decision HE agreed with.
Rather than just have the usual character bashing of his wife going on.

Already 2 major revelations from this chat with Corden which Josy has pointed out..
Were refreshing to read about.

Which possibly would have got swamped and lost in some other thread..
Just my view.

Yes Friendly Press

Arthur Edwards (Royal Photographer)
speaking on GMBHD itv
said Prince Harry he wondered what he has got in his head?

Arthur said it all changed after Meghan came along

...I only read a headline earlier but haven’t read any articles or seen any of the interview yet...but I recall a long time ago...(...and William has obviously spoken about mental health also..)..William being reported as saying that he was envious of Harry because he would have choices that William never could in being heir to the throne and the differences in their lives etc...anyway, without reading the article yet or seeing any of the interview, this is what Harry has always said...

If Harry released a statement or did an interview before he left royal duties on how his metal health was being affected people would of gave him their full support and the papers would of backed off.

Mental health is a truly terrible illness but and there is a but millions live with it without anyway of making it better

The press are still putting negative stories out about him and his wife due to the fact they are doing the opposite to what they have been saying and putting out statements having a dig at the queen after she has been more than fair.

Harry truly could of made a difference in this world by staying in a the royal family and challenge the press and bring an all to often silent killer to whole world to make the changes so millions of others may get a chance of real help not just given a heap of pills.

yep and id imagine it was Netflix who arranged this puff-piece interview.

Talk about the crown

Talk about the UK press and mental health (so the press pick up on it)

pathetic
