Default Amanda Mealing quits role as Connie Beauchamp after 18 years
She started the role in Holby City in 2003 before switching to Casualty 7 years ago and her final scenes will air In March

Her exit will mean Casualty have no female doctors left

Her ending was pretty anti-climatic, she just walked off with Grace! It was a sweet scene and everything, but it didn't scream "ending" to me...

At least it leaves the door open for her to come back!
