Justin Rowlatt chief environment correspondent. Dateline is shown again tomorrow on BBCnewsHD He said Gas Central Heating is efficient, but the Electric Heat Pumps are not as good. This is Pathetic Boris Johnson - No Plan. |

I'm pretty sure we've known that GCH is better than electric since like... ... when central heating was invented? . It's literally a selling point for estate agents. And something my sister complains about; she lives on an island, they do not have ANY mains gas on the island so heating is either electric (expensive) or from an oil tank in your garden (somewhat inconvenient).
That said, electric does become more efficient and cheaper over time (generally). |

we are pushing electric vehicles that can't do london to manchester without a re-charge too. It's not the point. Innovation and improvement happen when a way forward is decided. It's not like the majority of the population have moved away from gas already

In the "i" paper today page 17.
They are telling us the true Cost of Electric Cars, Not only are they to High to buy you have to pay to join a Subscription to charge at some points. Its a Right mess |
