I guess, if you like crippling debates by walling off perfectly reasonable and relevant lines of discussion . I know that's the official TiBB line but it's not the real world is it. Personal opinion, bias, and prejudice (obviously) does play a role in every debate and pretending otherwise is just... meh... a fake debate not worth having.

The real world..

People use the real world that they experience to form thier opinions..

So this is the real world, actually.

Yes exactly Parmy; pretending that debates exist in a vacuum separate to the experiences and worldviews of those involved in the debate is not "real". Thus, "finding issue and fault with those that oppose one's views" is an integral part of a full and open debate. A sanitised "debate" where one has to pretend that debators don't bring external factors to the table is ... a big ol' pile of nothing.

They didn't, Shall we go to the actual quotes and video clips? Choosing to misconstrue something to fit your agenda doesn't make it a fact.

I have too much self respect to allow lies and fake narratives to go unchallenged.

So you're more offended for the unknown Royal family member who said the remark than you are of the remark itself.

Interesting.

If they wanted to attack the royal family, they would have mentioned names, they would have gone for the jugular, but they did not. They didn't insult the queen, they didn't insult the royal family, anyone who can see the facts for what they are will tell you that.

I don't need them, I watched the whole interview, but if you do, go for it. Look out for all the lies too.

.

I never said that...and you know it. I was responding to the fact you said they never said anything to offend the Royal family...and I simply put you right.

Just because you don't like what was said in that interview, doesn't make it a lie.

Okay, I'm gonna explain it to you. This interaction started with me making this post.

To which you responded with this.

Here, we can see that you believe Harry speaking about a family member that he refuses to identify for their sake and their racist comment. You said as much in this post that you consider it an attack, thus you are more offended by the accusation of racism than you are of the act of racism itself.

Let's carry on, shall we? I responded to that post by saying that Harry didn't attack his family and you doubled down with this.

Here you basically re-iterate that Harry speaking about a racist incident but not exposing the person in question is an attack on the royal family, you don't seem too bothered about the racist remarks, but you see them revealing such an incident has taken place as an attack on the royal family.

You didn't 'put me right' about anything, you simply weren't keeping track of what you said previously. Hell, you even messed up in this post and said that what Harry said was an offense to the royal family. Another instance of you considering the revealing of such an incident as more offensive than the incident itself.

William is saying to the arch bishop, see this medal on my chest well it’s actually a throwing star made to look like a medal and when Harry’s back is turned I’m going to let him have it right in his bald bonce

It was really welcome to see the 2 Princes walking from the Chapel together back to the State rooms with Kate too.

Just really good luck to all of them.

Why should he?, the only reason he needs security is because he was born in to that family and life, it's not his fault

Exactly Niamh.

Just when it's thought the criticisms can't get any worse, along worse ones come.

I doubt myself Prince Philip who had a sense of humour would have been impressed with this latest one.

SARAH VINE: Kate Middleton showed again at Prince Philip's funeral that she's a class act who can be the monarchy's new rock
By SARAH VINE

……………..Knowing, perhaps, that with the world’s cameras on the three of them the brothers would be less likely to make a spectacle, she extended the hand of friendship to Harry and drew him into conversation.
Whatever her own feelings about what was said about her in the interview, she put them aside for the sake of the greater good: an opportunity to turn what was a deeply sad occasion into one, perhaps, tinged with hope. And she did it with such effortless charm and generosity of spirit.

Who knows whether Harry and William’s exchange will go any way towards beginning to bridge the gap between them; but God love Kate for giving it a go. For seeing the bigger picture and putting their happiness ahead of her own satisfaction.
And what a stark contrast, it must be said, to that other royal consort, out in sunny Santa Barbara, always so quick to take offence, always so keen to be cast as the victim.
Well, she can say whatever she likes: the quiet sincerity of the Duchess of Cambridge’s good heart is all the truth we need to know.
