Was this typed by someone who doesn't speak English?

(and dolphins aren't fish)

...the report is directly from an Indian news channel so far as I can see...the English is far better than my attempt at any Indian dialect would be......well done them for their translation...

...the story obviously though is the 60 dolphins which have been washed up dead and the pollution in the area...a huge, huge issue for sea life...our lands are polluted and so are our waters...nowhere left of earth is the future...?...hopefully that won’t be the case but it doesn’t look great...

...here’s another link...

Ghanaian authorities investigate after 60 dead dolphins appear...

The authorities in Ghana are trying to find out what has caused more than 60 dead dolphins to wash up on several beaches.
Local fishermen say the phenomenon is extremely rare.
Officials are warning against eating the dolphins and various other fish species that have also washed up, as it not yet clear what caused their deaths.
Ghana's Fisheries Commission says samples have been taken for laboratory analysis.
Dozens of dolphins went missing from Axim beach in the west of the country. It is suspected they were taken away by people who intend to sell their meat, Ghanaian news site Graphic Online reports.
"Initial observation... showed no wound/lesions on their bodies... The colour of the sea and temperature are normal," the executive director of the Fisheries Commission, Michael Arthur-Dadzie, is quoted by AFP news agency as saying.
Investigations have taken place over the last year after similar mass dolphin deaths along other parts of the African coast.
In February 111 dolphins were found dead off the coast of Mozambique.
The dolphins may have got caught at low tide after Cyclone Guambe, a preliminary investigation by Mozambique's agriculture ministry suggests.
Last year, 52 dead dolphins were found on the coast of the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius.
An investigation by Mauritius's fisheries ministry put the main cause of death down to a phenomenon known as barotrauma.
This results from an abrupt change in pressure which can be caused by various things including military sonar, an underwater earthquake, explosives or a volcanic eruption.

...amazing though that we have Arista to bring us such worldwide reports......

I genuinely thought this was a joke but have been utterly fascinated to learn that this is an actual language, similar to "Scots" I guess, essentially based on English but with some differences. Their reasons for using it are interesting as well (to increase readability for people in the region who only speak the local dialect, and struggle with formal English).

I have to admit though... I did chuckle at this one...

Like can you translate it and still put it in quote marks...? The Pope did not say this

I mean yes and no, it just made me realise that the planet is hopelessly wrecked to the extent that I don't think there's any point trying, we might as well accept that it's going down the crapper and enjoy it while we can. Like... it's not fixable, it's ****ed

To be fair it would be pretty hilarious to hear people who usually speak proper English talk like that, especially if they do it in a really posh voice.

And to be doubly fair, his actual words probably weren't in English anyway, so one translation is as good as another.

...I might be wrong but I thought the Pope did say something similar to don’t lose hope and keep faith etc in his Easter message...
