He’d be ideal but from what I can gather whilst 6 billion is a pizz in the ocean for the other group it’s a huge chunk out of Ratcliffe’s fortune so he unlikely buy them — he’s a pauper compared to the other interested party

They include representatives of Ineos owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatar's Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The pair are regarded as the two leading candidates to buy the Premier League club should the Glazer family eventually decide to relinquish control.

Part of the presentations will revolve around how the club could generate more income.

Ratcliffe's camp will visit at the end of next week, although it is yet to be confirmed whether the 70-year-old British billionaire will attend. Sheikh Jassim's delegation will also receive their presentation next week.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani has made an improved offer to buy Manchester United.

Sources have told BBC Sport a fresh bid was submitted on Tuesday morning amid further talks involving the Raine Group, who are handling the sale.

The Qatari banker and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos Group are the two main parties looking to buy the Old Trafford club.

Both groups submitted third bids at the end of April

It is understood the new bid is for 100% of the club, will clear United's debt and includes a separate fund directed solely at the club and local community.

I don’t understand all these comings and goings .. the English guy has limited funds so he’s having to throw the Americans a crumbs of comfort by letting them stay on as minority share holders .. BUT the Saudis have unlimited funds so why don’t they just offer a ridiculous amount that would be impossible to refuse and have done with it
