A magnificent actress. RIP legend.

Her accent in Steel Magnolias is probably my favourite bit of the movie - love her “Southern Drawl”

A giant of acting... I loved her recently in the Netflix series "Tales of the City".

...we recently watched Steel Magnolias for the TiBB movie club...she and Shirley MacLaine were just the most magnificence of pairing/their connection, gorgeous.....so many movies she’s lifted with her screen presence, I think that she won an Oscar for supporting actress for Moonstruck...a true movie legend and a majestic lady of warmth and thought...she was a huge supporter for women’s rights and LGBT rights, especially gay marriage...her glow made a difference and that’s a light that will always be there...


.... Olympia Dukakis...magnificent life to celebrate.......
