Oh just shove statues in a museum with all the details of who they are and anything good or bad they are known for.

I detest statues.

Have them if they must but not on public display, where we who don't wish to look at them or visit them, have to pass them.
Shove them into museums or buildings connected to the person the statue glorifies.

Where those who want them and want to see them can go to to see them whenever they wish.

I just see statues as monstrosities in public places.

Statues are commemorative, they are tributes to the people they depict.

Statues that depict evil people shouldn't be given pride and place, they shouldn't be given that honour. It's ridiculous that they aren't taking it down and I just hope it gets vandalised beyond belief to the point it has to go.

People who wish to defend the honour of such a hateful person say a lot about themselves.
