Thursday 2nd June 2022
to Sunday 5th June 2022

Bank Holiday Thursday?

https://news.sky.com/story/queens-pl...unced-12323048

[Buckingham Palace will mark the
Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a series
of events next year, including a live concert
featuring some of the world's biggest stars.
The Queen's seven-decade reign will be marked
with a host of celebrations over a special
four-day bank holiday weekend from 2-5 June 2022.]

[Over 1,400 parading soldiers,
200 horses and 400 musicians will come
together to stage Trooping the Colour in full
for the first time since the pandemic on the
first day of the holiday.

The parade will close with the
traditional RAF fly-past, watched by the Queen, 95, and
the Royal Family from the Buckingham Palace balcony.]

1) A person who is otherwise socially liberal and tolerant has taken a position on sex and gender that is driven by prejudice and hatred.
2) That person has some concerns about how changes in sex and gender law could have consequences for women and girls.

I think she's a determined strong woman with amazing willpower.

However, I agree with you mostly, plus she has lost her rock at her side this year in Prince Philip.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert tonight will see the Royal Albert Hall covered in blue and yellow lights to create an image of Ukraines flag as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra plays the country’s National Anthem.

Hosted by the BBC’s Sophie Raworth, it will feature music performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Mike Dixon.
Works by Great British composers including Edward Elgar, Benjamin Britten and William Walton will take centre stage, with a focus on music played at Her Majesty’s 1953 Coronation and other key moments of the Queen’s reign.
With 124 visits to the Hall during her lifetime, this event holds particular poignancy.

Special guests will recount their experiences of meeting the Monarch as the nation celebrates this special anniversary in our nation’s history.
The event is in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, which is proud to present this momentous evening in celebration of its Royal Patron.
