Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls two in one, both remastered versions

Lego Jurassic World (had this one already on PS3, now bought PS4 version)


and tomorrow Life is Strange will arrive, also love that game, but i guess it might work better on PS4 than PC



and i've got Fallout 4, Jurassic World Evolution 2 on my wishlist for my birthday in november already

1) PS5 is 4k

2) PS3 had 1080p

3) 1080p is NOT 4k.

4) Base PS4 is 1080p

5) If it's a PS4 Pro, with some games you will get 4k.

A lot of PS3 games run at upscaled 720p but I promise the PS3 can output native 1080p

This will run at 1080p also. Not 4k. 1080p ("Full HD") is not 4k ("Ultra HD") - to get technical, "4k" is actually 2160p.

I don't have a spare but you can pick one up for literally £20 if you look around. I bought one for my wife (with SSX Tricky) a couple of years back because we used to play it when we first got together what a sweet boy.

That said, if you're going to play on a modern TV I'd recommend getting one of the PS2 > HDMI cables and that's about another £15 - £20... but getting the PS2 to run on modern tellies via component or SCART can be a pain in the arse (if your TV even has sockets for those - if it's less than 5 years old it may well ONLY have HDMI)

... ... ... PS3 doesn't have backwards compatibility with PS2 games though and he did say he has PS2 games he wants to play... not to nitpick...

TBF my biggest gripe with Sony over the last several consoles has been lack of backwards compatibility. They promised me PS2 emulation on the PS5. It didn't happen .

Actually TS, I meant to ask you about your ubi pass. Do you get DLC with it or is it just base games? Reason I'm asking is Ubi have announced loads of their future releases will be free, so they can hammer microtransactions, so wondered if you knew how that would affect your deal.

And I know you have it on PC, but I presume the same thing is for XBox?
