No.
My information comes from the 4 loved ones I've lost to this virus unnecessarily.
From all their medical records got very quickly after their deaths.

My time will come with thousands of other families at the public inquiry when he dares ever hold it.

Plus, I don't ever have to answer to anything to you with respect.

Boris says there could be 50k new cases per day by the time we open up. This whole thing reeks of needing to change the subject from his government/hancock etc, and we're all being guinea-pigged for his own political benefit.

anecdotal evidence is not really following the science or helpful in policy matters

It does seem that in my opinion too Slim.

Then again I've rarely trusted a thing they've said all through.

And his shoddy plan is working, as now some people are looking forward to holidays away and getting rid of masks etc. Which is irresponsible as COVID hasn't just disappeared.

Like I said we'll have to just keep being responsible and using our common sense.

Exactly we will make our own choices

Tbh it will be less annoying because those that will continue to wear them will put them in properly...no chin or under nose masks

the road map has been set out for months, so what could it possibly have to do with Hancock's resignation.

I want to ask those who dont want to see restrictions to end what the point of vaccination is? Would they prefer to live in a restricted world for the remainder of their lives? Covid isn't going anywhere, so thats the reality

But as you just said "COVID isn't going anywhere" , therefore surely we should have made sure near enough everyone was fully vaccinated and held off lifting restrictions? . I'm having my second jab soon.

But how many people are still waiting to have their second one, and some people still won't get vaccinated atall.

All over 40s who want it will be double jabbed by 19th July ... there are businesses that have been closed for 16 months or only operating at half capacity since May, we have to start taking steps towards living with this...some people are on their knees with worry over their livelihoods, another 3 months of hell for them if we held off until September

I understand the aspect with businesses and people's income , but i just think some of the other restrictions could still have been in place for a while until we're more out of the woods. That's probably a wrong way to put it , as we won't be out of the woods for a while but you know what i mean.

i think thats the issue really, we wont be out of the woods, probably ever. The age groups not double jabbed by july are in a range that was largely unaffected by covid, so 1 jab to them is really like 2 jabs to a more vulnerable person. Its all about preventing serious illness and death and that will largely have been achieved by mid july. We can't force people to be vaccinated, but maybe there will be more take up of it amongst the skeptical once life returns to normal

I have noticed in the last few weeks that a significant proportion of people just werent wearing masks indoors when they should be, so keeping that a mandatory requirement was unsustainable. Those that want to wear masks will. I will certainly continue to wear a mask in a crowded environment, and i think it will become the norm. The moment people are not forced into something, they actually tend to view it more rationally. Of course there will be idiots, but there always are, in any scenario

That is correct cherie my friend.

If we dont fully open up as well, I can only assume we shall soon be seeing more daily suicide deaths due to covid restrictions, than actual covid deaths.

That's if we ain't already.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid says from 16 August anyone who is a close contact of someone who tested positive will no longer have to self-isolate if they are double jabbed

Anyone aged under 18 who is a close contact of a positive case will also no longer have to self-isolate, he told MPs.

It was deleted by Josy, who was involved in the conversation with us at the same time. You're a good friend, Parmy, going to bat in the mobile thread and now this one.
