A michillen starred, and ex uk chef of the year
And an old arsehole, who is probably London's finest TV in house engineer.

Name of the kitchen....les allouettes( the white doves) in claygate, surrey.

Multitasker, parmy.

6 months the three of us spent together, either cooped up sleeping for 6 hours, or in a kitchen sweating for hours.

A couple of day trips on a sunday to brighton, must have been bank holiday weekends!!, down the snooker club if it was a usual sunday after the evening shift.

Good times.

Yes, that's him.

Took my mum to The Westbury a few years back to taste his food..lovely, apart from the frois gras!


Me and him got chased by a big black man with a massive blade at hackney wick station in 1987..

…sadly I couldn’t find any 1987 photos of Claygate with Les Allouettes as it was at the time, that would have been nice to have looked at for general town changes as well…

I drove past the old place so took some photos of it last year.

The place is derelict now.
